Baby girl Dosa has arrived!

A beautiful baby Dosa arrived this afternoon. We've been throwing a couple names around, but I think we've settled on Ruby.
She arrived in a medium sized kennel and didn't make a mess at all. Not a single poo or pee to be seen. Once she got out, she peed on green grass as fast as she could. This is a good sign I think. She seems to like to wiggle-crawl on the grass and it's the cutest thing to watch.

Once again, thank you John for this little angel. She will be meeting up with Moose at the ranch shortly.

Sorry is has been so long since I posted on this blog. We've been moving into our new house here in the woods of East Dallas. Here's some pictures from this week. Moose spent all week out here in Dallas with his buddies, Jack the Pomeranian and Philly the white lab "mix". Jack and Moose have great respect for each other, and that's good considering their size difference. Philly and Moose are constantly roughhousing and playing. Moose got a couple sratches on his nose.

Moose is now 6 months old and still sleeps 20 hours a day. He still has lots of growing to do.

Moose & friends at the April 12 DFW Mastiff Meetup

Moose had a great time at the meetup. He was social with all of the people and all the big doggies out there. He was getting lots of attention because he's still a cute little puppy... well he's 55 lbs so maybe that's not quite little.
After an hour of running and playing, Moose simply said "I'm pooped" and plopped down, refusing to led by his leash. I ended up having to carry him out to the car, much to everyone's laughter.
We had a great time. See you at the next meeting!

Moose at the ranch

Moose & family went out to the ranch yesterday. He met all of the other dogs and they were all cool with him and he was cool with them. He will be living most of his life on the ranch.

He was more active out there than we had ever seen him. He would go off and explore things on his own and come back and roll around and wiggle on his back on the grass. Extremely cute stuff!

We were sad to have to leave him there, but we'll be back soon to see him.
